Motobike.net is the photo library of the motorcycle journalist Roland Brown. Roland has been a freelance bike journalist and photographer since 1989, having previously been deputy editor of the UK magazine Bike. He has built up one of the world's most extensive collections of motorcycle photos.
Machines pictured range from the world's first motorcycle, via countless Hondas and Harley-Davidsons of all ages, to the latest MotoGP championship racebikes. People featured include designers, racers and other notable industry figures. This web site shows a small selection.
Images can be supplied with comprehensive information if required. Roland's job involves testing bikes for motorcycle publications in more than 20 countries. He also works for national newspapers, plus motoring and lifestyle magazines. He has written eight books about bikes, and contributed photos to many more.
Many images in the library are copyright of Roland Brown. Additional images taken by leading motorcycle photographers are included on a non-profit-making basis. Their use is charged at the same rate, with all fees going to Riders for Health, the award-winning charity that uses motorbikes to provide health care in remote regions of Africa.
